DRAFT V1 · DEMO POLICY
Part fitment and warranty guidance.
This draft supports product testing and is not yet an approved commercial warranty.
Fitment confidence
“Confirmed” means the catalogue has an application record for the selected make, model, and year. “Universal” does not guarantee suitability for every installation. “Needs verification” stays marked on the order so CarPlug can confirm compatibility before fulfilment.
Customer information
Fitment depends on accurate plate, model year, trim, engine, transmission, and sometimes VIN or part number. CarPlug may request more information before fulfilment.
Installation
Safety-critical and vehicle-specific parts should be installed by a qualified technician. Installation labour, diagnostics, and related components are separate unless the order explicitly includes them.
Product warranty
Eligible defects are assessed against the manufacturer or supplier warranty. Damage from incorrect installation, misuse, modification, accident, contamination, or normal wear is not treated as a manufacturing defect.
Claims
Stop using a part if continued use may cause damage or risk. Keep the receipt, packaging, part label, and installation evidence, then contact CarPlug with the order ID.
